Overview

Onimusha: Way of the Sword opens with Musashi dueling Yoshioka Seijuro, a master swordsman. Musashi cripples Seijuro's arm and flees his vengeful students, and in the ensuing chaos Seijuro is killed by an unknown force. The duel serves as the game's introduction to the sword combat before the Genma appear.
