Oni Gauntlet
鬼の籠手
The sentient gauntlet that consumes enemy souls and powers every other armament.
The Oni Gauntlet is the defining item of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Musashi is equipped with a sentient gauntlet that consumes the souls of defeated enemies, and removing it would kill him. Yellow souls replenish health, red souls buy upgrades, and blue souls power the Oni Armaments. Enhancing the katana at a Spirit Mirror raises Regular Attack Power, Issen Power, and Oni Armament Power simultaneously.
